However I know that steam recognises my microphone, because in the same tab where you test you microphone, at the top under the title 'Recording (audio input) device' it has the name of my microphone which says 'Headset Microphone (Cyborg F.R.E.Q 7). Also I have tried changing the settings to 'Automatically transmit my voice whenever I speak') (Yes I have set the push to talk button and I am pressing and holding the correct key. It doesn't even show that I am speaking into the microphone on the boost bar. When I click the 'Test Microphone' button I get no feedback what so ever.
Secondly - Most people who have this problem can hear their selves when testing their microphone in the steam settings tab.
Ill just add in here that my microphone works perfectly fine in team speak and when testing in the windows control panel. So I have the Cyborg F.R.E.Q 7 headset which has a USB connector.įirstly - When playing CSGO no one can hear me even though my speech icon appears when holding down the push to talk button in the bottom left hand corner.
